 The Number of the Beast (que significa o número da besta em inglês) é um álbum da banda de heavy metalIron Maiden, lançado em 1982. Este álbum marca a entrada do vocalista Bruce Dickinson; ainda que o Iron Maiden estivesse em um período de muito sucesso após o lançamento do álbum Killers, o vocalista Paul Di'Anno deixou a banda no final de sua turnê mundial em 1981. Foi marcado também por ter sido o último com o baterista Clive Burr.
